To make a Google Slide vertical, go to ‘File’ > ‘Page setup’, then select ‘Custom’ and enter the dimensions (width and height) to create a vertical orientation, like 8.5 x 11 inches.

To create a vertical Google Slide, follow these steps:

1. Open Google Slides: Start by navigating to Google Slides in your web browser and open the presentation you want to modify, or create a new one.

2. Access Page Setup: Click on “File” in the top-left corner of the window. This will open a dropdown menu.

3. Set Custom Page Size: From the dropdown menu, select “Page setup.” A pop-up window will appear showing the current slide dimensions (default is typically 16:9).

4. Choose Custom Size: In the pop-up, click on the dropdown where it says “Widescreen 16:9”. A list will appear; select “Custom” from this list.

5. Enter Dimensions: A new set of fields will appear for width and height. To create a vertical slide, you’ll want to switch the typical width and height values. For example, if you want a slide that is 8.5 x 11 inches, enter “8.5” for the width and “11” for the height. You can choose different units (inches, centimeters, pixels) using the dropdown next to the dimensions.

6. Apply Changes: Once you’ve entered your desired dimensions, click the “Apply” button. Your slides will now change to a vertical orientation.

7. Adjust Content: After making these changes, you’ll likely need to reposition and resize your content to fit the new layout properly.

This process allows you to create presentations that are better suited for certain types of content, such as flyers, brochures, or any materials where vertical alignment is preferred.
